Chef Andrew the Viking

Today was a hoot, danger always approaches when freedom is unleashed. Today we took a simple scramble egg demo video to a new level. Mix Julia Child with the Swedish chef and watch out. In fact go onto youtube and check it out. Chef Tim let loose the Three Amigos (Gary, Dan, and Andrew) and got a Chernobal Experience!!!

2nd Day in Food & Media Class

Welcome to our Food and Media class at Metro Community College. This class is part of the Culinary Arts program.

Chef Tim (instructor) felt that a blog of what goes on in class was a good idea... so I am getting it started.

On our 2nd day of class we all go the chance, wether we wanted to or not, to make an instuctional video of a knife skill of choice. Of course this was on camera, and in the cool new demo kitchen. We all did farily well considering this was some of our first times doing this on camera. It was a bit scary in my opinion.

I am posting some of the pictures of the class. There will be more. Feel free to post questions/comments.
